Consultation & Supervision in San Francisco

I provide consultation and supervision to support therapists in their clinical work and professional development. With years of practice in community mental health, I am interested in the application of psychodynamic approaches in a variety of settings. I enjoy helping clinicians develop their own theoretical point of view and strengthen their confidence and conviction in their work.

My approach to consultation is collaborative, integrating various theoretical influences. As a licensed clinical social worker and practitioner of modern psychoanalysis, I take a dynamic biopsychosocial approach to understanding human experience.

I have taught, supervised and consulted widely at numerous graduate schools, clinics and hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been the Substance Abuse Consultant to both UCSF Student Health and Counseling Services and USF Counseling and Psychological Services. I was appointed as a 2012 fellow of the Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Teachers’ Academy of the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA).

I am on the teaching faculty at California Pacific Medical Center and the Access Institute, and am the current Chair of Student Outreach Programs for San Francisco for the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, as well as a member of the steering committee for the Coalition for Clinical Social Work.
